| Discovery of gold along the new structural trend prompted Wallbridge to stake ground between their Ben Nevis property to the north and the Upper Beaver Mine to the south. To consolidate their property holdings, Wallbridge acquired the Vallillee property early in 2008 on the basis of favourable geology, historic high grade gold showings and limited historical exploration. Recent geological compilation has enhanced the prospectivity of the consolidated claim group and will focus our 2008 exploration program on favourable structural trends that are known to host gold and copper mineralization at the Upper Beaver property to the south.
The 2008 program has already begun with the completion of an airborne geophysical survey in March. The field program will include mapping, prospecting, and an IP survey, all of which will guide drilling later in the year or early in 2009. |
